Legends of M'ystifa Patch 1.54 ============================== NEW FUNCTIONALITY ================= - None. BUGS ==== - An issue was discovered where a randomly generated rare relic could be assigned no item level. Unfortunately, as a result, this was causing the game code to not take into account some of the effects on the item. This has been fixed. Any items that were previously broken as a result should now work as intended. Legends of M'ystifa Patch 1.53 ============================== NEW FUNCTIONALITY ================= - None. BUGS ==== - The Archer Aim ability should no longer cause a game crash. - A bug in the Slots casino game caused the jackpot to be awarded when 1-1-1 was rolled. This has been fixed. - The Elusive Esper Root quest previously required that your party have an average Charisma a little higher than reasonable. It has now been decreased to 16. It's fixed for real this time! Legends of M'ystifa Patch 1.52 ============================== NEW FUNCTIONALITY ================= - The cost of reviving fallen comrades has decreased across the board! Now, parties not yet 20th level pay a flat rate of 100 gold per revive. Parties above level 20 now pay a reduced rate. - A variety of quest rewards have been scaled upward. Quests affected include: Magical Sunstones, The Grand Prize, The Elusive Esper Root, Aid Gard Humber, Beautiful Black Vase, Quest For The Vapor Hearts, The Bounty (part #4), The Mage Tunic and the Crown Jewel. BUGS ==== - Master Siren could use a special ability during combat that resulted in a game crash. This has been fixed. - The Three Paintings quest could not previously be completed because the Castle Painting did not exist in game. This has been fixed. It should be noted that existing parties will *not* be able to find the Castle Painting - only new parties. - The Elusive Esper Root quest previously required that your party have an average Charisma a little higher than reasonable. It has now been decreased to 16. - The Ghosts From The Past quest, which results in your party being awarded a random Eginbear heirloom, was not working as intended. There were supposed to be 5 possible rewards, with one being quite rare to receive. This has been fixed. - Using a Potion of Fear in battle no longer results in a game crash. - An uncommon drop, the Siren Whistle now works as intended. It's surely going to result in hours of mindless entertainment! Legends of M'ystifa Patch 1.51 ============================== NEW FUNCTIONALITY ================= - Many tweaks have been made to the treasure system including: - Much better chance of finding magical items. - Better chance of finding rare items. - Slightly increased chance to find unique items. - I've also made some changes to the quality of treasure found. It should now be a little easier to find items of better quality. This has a number of effects - namely, items of better quality are created with higher AP and DP. - Melee/missle characters should now critical hit more often than before. This will help to shore up the damage over time they can put up against a caster class. - Barbarians have had their ability to do triple criticals increased slightly. - No spell criticals have been added for this realease. After much testing I am happy with the damage over time a caster class provides. - Previously, the only way to move into a secret area was by clicking on the N, S, E or W icons or by clicking on the auto map. You can now move into a secret area by using the arrow keys on your keyboard. BUGS ==== - A bug that caused Caller summons to not work via Quick Cast Keys has been corrected. Legends of M'ystifa Patch 1.50 ============================== NEW FUNCTIONALITY ================= - Random battles on Normal, Hard and Hardcore difficulty should occur slightly less often. There was no change to Easy difficulty. - No more gray battles! If your average character level is 3 or more than the highest level creature found in a dungeon, you will not encounter random battles! - This feature is turned on by default but can be disabled through the Options screen. This setting is not saved across parties or when you exit the game, so you'll need to toggle it off as needed. - This new feature does not apply to random battles on the land (outside of dungeons) or in Fort Doom, the last dungeon in the game. - You can now select your desired difficulty when you create a new party! Hardcore difficulty is still reserved for parties who have completed the game on Hard difficulty. Legends of M'ystifa Patch 1.49 ============================== BUGS ==== - The Warlock class, upon reaching level 43, was not receiving the Book of Tornado. This has been corrected. If you have a Warlock past level 43 and did not receive the spell you will unfortunately have to find one in loot. - The Blind ailment was actually making your characters hit better - not worse! This has been corrected. This bug did not apply to creatures, where the ailment is working as intended. - A rounding error at some of the Mystics could cause them to not repair and item you had exactly enough gold to repair. This has been corrected. - The mysterious Keytube, needed mid-way through the game to get to a special chest was actually not able to be found in game! This has been fixed. If you take Inuids Skull to the Collector in Isla Village, he will still reward you with Sturdy Iron Keys but will now also throw in a Keytube. If you already cashed in your copy of Inuids Skull you're out of luck and will not be able to get a Keytube. - Having your entire party wiped out by a trap just as battle is about to begin should no longer cause LoM to have a fit. - It was impossible to set quick cast keys by right-clicking a spell, then pressing the number slot on your keyboard. Not sure when they became broken, but it's now fixed. - Running in battle with the item or spell window open, and then failing to run, should cause these windows to automatically close for the next character. - When staying at an Inn, characters who were poisoned would not recover HP or MP. This was by design. When resting in the field however, those who were poisoned were getting back their HP and MP. This is no longer to case - resting in the field will now behave like you are at an Inn and no HP/MP will be recovered. - The spell Chain Lightning was not working as intended. This should be fixed. - A couple of spelling mistakes on some items were corrected. - The Soul Mace, which proc'd Soul Touch, resulted in a game crash when it fired. It should now be working as intended. Anyone with an old Soul Mace is not affected by this change. The item should begin to work correctly after you apply this patch. - The Vial of Liquid Ether was known to actually destroy some types of equipment. This was a bug and not intentional. It should now be working correctly, but with a couple of changes: - You now have an 80% chance of successfully applying the Vial of Ether. There is no skill check and you can apply it to any piece of armor. On successful application, the DP of the armor will increase by 20%. - If you fail, you'll no longer lose the armor. Instead, you'll damage it which results in a decrease of 20% DP. - If you have already used your Vial of Ether (one time item) before this patch, read below! NEW FUNCTIONALITY ================= - The character status screen now displays how much XP a character needs to level up, as well as the % complete. - A new trade skill recipe has been added! Combine a Half Vial of Ether with a Half Vial of Ether to create a Vial of Ether. It can be used to increase the DP of a piece of armor by 20%. * note that the odds of combining two Half Vials of Ether are very low and do not require a skill check. NOTES ===== - It's official! The Feeble Key that I suggested is used in Dungeon Babool is not actually used anywhere in game at this time.
