Location Panel
Located in the top left corner of the screen is the Location Panel.

It will always displayed the current location of your party.

Party Panel

The Party Panel displays all pertinent information regarding your characters including name, portrait, HP/HPMax, MP/MPMax.

Inside the character portrait are two values - one representing the character level and the other representing the % of XP already earned towards the next level.

Beneath the portrait is the XP meter which indicated how much XP has already been earned towards the next level. When it is full, the character levels up.

The amount of gold and food the party is carrying is also displayed on this panel.

In Town

Here is a screenshot of the interface in a village:

Simply click on any option for your party to move to that location.

If you choose to enter a the location of a merchant, such as 'Hurlush the Weaponsmith' in this picture, you'll see a screen like this:

You can move your mouse over any item name to see it's description. Simply click on the Buy button to make the purchase.

The amount of gold the party is carrying is displayed in the lower-right corner of the screen.

Map Panel

This panel displays the world map.

You can click on this map for a more detailed view once your party has received a better map.

Message Panel

Everything that happens to your characters outside of battle is reflected in this message panel.

Target Panel

The Target Panel in town allows you to select which character will perform actions at a location.

For example, you'll want to target your character with the highest Merchant skill before going shopping. In this situation, only the skills of the character targeted are taken into account.

In A Dungeon

Here is a screenshot of the interface in a dungeon:

Displayed at the top is the name of the room you are in as well as the current floor of the dungeon you are on. This is followed by a description of the room you are in.

To navigate, you can click on the 'N', 'S', 'E' or 'W' icons. Alternately, you can use the directional keys on your keyboard. Your mini-automap automatically updates as you move around the dungeon.

If other options are available (such as Fountain, Pool, etc.), you'll be able to click them to activate. Options that are not available are always faded out.

Be sure to select the character you would like to perform the action before doing it. For example, you'll want to select the character with the highest Disarm Trap skill before moving into a trapped room. In this situation, only the skills of the character targeted are taken into account.

Movement

To move around in a dungeon, you can click the 'N', 'S', 'E' or 'W' icons or use the directional keys on your keyboard.

If you suspect a secret area, you MUST click the 'N', 'S', 'E' or 'W' icons to activate it.

Map Panel

As you move through a dungeon, the Map Panel will show a zoomed-in view of your surroundings. To view a full screen view of the automap, click the 'Magnify' icon on the top-right of the panel.

It will show you all of the rooms and objects that you have seen. Areas you have not been to yet will not be shown.

Target Panel

The Target Panel is important as you use Fountains, move into trapped rooms, etc. In these situations, only the skills of the character targeted are taken into account.
