Inventory Screen

General | Equipped Items | Item Description | Party Inventory | Use, Drop, Repair, Identify

General
Here is a screenshot of the Inventory Screen.

Equipped Items

In the top left corner of the Inventory Screen is the Equipped Items panel. Each party member can equip a weapon, shield, helmet, armor, gloves, leggings, boots and two relics.

Equipping / Unequipping Items

To equip an item, highlight the item in the party inventory and click Use. If you already have an item of that type equipped, it will be unequipped to make room for the new item. The only exception to this rule is if you are trying to equip a relic and already have two equipped. You'll need to decide which one to remove before equipping a new one.

To manually unequip an item, right click on it's name in this panel.

No character can equip and item that has not been identified.

Attack Power / Defense Power

Beside the item name is it's AP or DP (Attack Power or Defense Power). Relics do not have innate AP or DP, so no value is shown for them.

Item Name Colors

An item whose name is in white is a normal item. Light blue indicates a magical item. Green indicates a rare item. Gold indicates an item that is unique. Red indicates an item that is about to break.

You can hover over an item to bring up it's description in the Item Description panel.

Item Description
The Item Description panel allows you to view all of the details about every item, weapon and piece of armor your party finds. This includes the name, type of item, description, AP, DP, level requirement, durability, value and quality.

Party Inventory

The Party Inventory list displays each and every item the party is carrying, ordered by when they were found. No party is able to carry more then 75 items at one time.

Use, Drop, Repair, Identify
These four commands may or may not be available at different times depending on the character classes you have in your party or what item you have selected.

Use

There are hundreds of items in Legends of M'ystifa that can be used by a character. For example, you can equip a weapon or piece of armor, drink a potion, eat food or learn a spell from a spell book.

Some items cannot be used outside of battle.

Drop

You can drop an item at any time. Be very careful which items you throw away. Any item that even seems remotely useful (perhaps in a quest you haven't discovered yet) should be kept. If you don't have room to store these items in your group inventory, store them in the bank in the village.

It is possible to drop an item that is essential to complete the game. In most cases you WILL NOT be able to get another one, so be VERY careful!

Repair

If you at least one of your characters is from the Fighter class, you'll have the ability to repair your own weapons and armor away from town.

There is no cost to repair an item. The only expense is a slight hit to the items maximum durability.

Identify

If you target an unidentified item, this option will become available. Depending on the items quality, your characters may or may not be able to identify the item successfully. There is no harm in trying!

If at least one of your characters is from the Paladin class, you'll be able to identify every item no matter the items quality. This can be very beneficial because identifying items in a village at the Mystic can be very expensive.
